Join us to RECLAIM THE NIGHT!
Reclaim The Night (RTN) is an annual march held by Solent Students' Union to raise awareness of gender-based violence and nighttime safety in Southampton.
Reclaim The Night 2026 will feature:

Where? In The Spark
When? March 9th, 5pm - 7pm
This event will include speeches from local women, including our own Union President, Communities and Wellbeing, Bria, along with other guest speakers. It will also include opportunities to find out more about local charities, societies and our campaigns, helping to raise awareness about women's issues and nighttime safety in Southampton.
There will also be an arts and crafts, where you can create your own placard to take on the march! (All materials provided.)
Southampton Park March:
Where? Meet in The Spark entrance
When? March 9th, gathering at 6:45pm to start the march at 7pm
The march around the Southampton parks will last approximately one hour, walking through East Park, Watts Park, Palmerston Park, Houndwell Park and Hoglands Park, following the pavements.
This is a trans* inclusive and free event. Everyone is welcome!
